FlowDoc Pro Privacy Policy

FlowDoc Pro for Power Automate is a DevHexLab browser extension that generates documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and handover reports from Power Automate flow definitions.

Effective date: May 5, 2026

Local-Only Processing

FlowDoc Pro processes selected Power Automate flow definition JSON locally in the user's browser. FlowDoc Pro does not upload, transmit, sell, or share flow definition data with DevHexLab servers.

The extension is intended to work from a user-selected exported flow file, usually the definition.json file inside a Power Automate package export.

Information FlowDoc Pro Handles

FlowDoc Pro may process information contained in the selected flow definition JSON. This can include flow names, trigger names, action names, connector references, SharePoint URLs, Dataverse table names, HTTP endpoints, expressions, environment identifiers, connection reference identifiers, email addresses, GUIDs, and other configuration values present in the flow file.

This information is used only to generate documentation, diagrams, inventories, risk findings, support runbooks, handover checklists, and export files requested by the user.

Data Storage

FlowDoc Pro may store generated documentation in browser extension local storage when the user chooses to save it in the local documentation library.

Saved documentation remains on the user's device in that browser profile unless the user deletes it, clears extension storage, or removes the extension.

Exports

FlowDoc Pro can export documentation as HTML, Markdown, JSON, CSV, Mermaid, Word- compatible files, PDF-ready HTML, and redacted support packages.

Exported files are created in the browser and downloaded by the user. Users are responsible for where exported files are stored, shared, or uploaded after download.

Data Sharing

FlowDoc Pro does not send flow definition data to DevHexLab servers.

FlowDoc Pro does not sell flow data. FlowDoc Pro does not use the contents of flow definitions for advertising or analytics.

Permissions

FlowDoc Pro may request browser permissions for local extension storage and downloads so users can save generated documentation locally and export documentation files.

Security Notes

Power Automate flow definitions may contain sensitive operational details, including service URLs, identifiers, email addresses, and configuration values. Users should only open or export flow documentation on trusted devices and browser profiles.

FlowDoc Pro includes redacted support package export options to help reduce accidental sharing of URLs, emails, GUIDs, and secret-like values.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated as FlowDoc Pro changes. The latest version will be made available on this page.
