How to Clean and Sanitize Text

Open the Text Cleaner
Navigate to /tools/text/text-cleaner.

Paste your text
Paste the messy text into the input area. It might come from a PDF copy-paste, a Word document, a web scrape, or any source that introduces unwanted formatting.

Select cleaning operations
Choose which operations to apply: remove extra whitespace, strip HTML tags, remove line breaks, convert smart quotes to straight quotes, remove special characters, trim leading and trailing spaces, and more.

Copy the clean output
The cleaned text appears in the output panel. Click Copy to use it wherever you need plain sanitised text.
