How to Compress Images Online
Step-by-step guide to reducing image file sizes for faster web pages using the DevHexLab Image Compressor tool.
Tool Used
Image Compressor
Open the Image Compressor
Navigate to /tools/image/image-compressor. The tool runs entirely in your browser, so your images are never uploaded to any server.
Upload your images
Drag and drop one or more image files onto the upload zone, or click to browse your files. The tool accepts JPEG, PNG, and WebP formats. You can process multiple images at once.
Set the quality level
Use the quality slider to choose how much compression to apply. Higher quality means a larger file size but better visual fidelity. For most web images a quality of 75 to 85 is a good balance between file size and appearance.
Preview the result
The tool shows a side-by-side comparison of the original and compressed image along with the file sizes of both. Check that the compressed version still looks sharp enough for your use case.
Download
Click Download to save the compressed image. If you processed multiple files, use Download All to get a ZIP archive containing every compressed image.
All done!
You are ready to use Image Compressor like a pro.
